Privacy notice
This site currently collects almost nothing. This notice says exactly what, and what will change when the shop opens, so nothing surprises you later.
Who is responsible
Kestrel Row Limited, RC 9874521, No. 9, Bob Manuel Street, Springville Estate, Kapuwa, Lugbe, FCT, Nigeria, is the data controller for Plainroom and for its other brands, Goodslane, Shoutwell and Pluggie. One address serves all of them for anything about your data: privacy@shoutwell.co.
What this site collects today
- Nothing you type, because there are no forms yet. If you email us, we keep your message and address to reply to you.
- Your country, not your address. To show prices in your currency, our hosting provider's edge tells our page the country of your connection. We do not store it, and there is no third-party analytics script on this site.
- A saved preference, if you pick a country or currency in the shop, stored in your own browser only. You can clear it with the "change" link or your browser settings.
- Server logs kept by our hosting provider, Cloudflare, for security, for a short period.
What will change when orders open
When you can buy, we will collect what an order needs: your name, delivery address, email, phone number for the courier, and your order history. Payments are taken by a licensed payment provider; we never see your card number. Anything beyond that, such as measuring how the site is used, tailoring what we show you, or sending you news, will be switched off by default and asked for on this site with a clear choice, in line with Nigeria's data protection law and the laws of the other countries we sell to. This notice will be updated first, with a new version number and date, and the changes listed.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it or delete it, and withdraw any consent you have given, at any time, by writing to privacy@shoutwell.co. We answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission or to the data protection authority in your country.
Where data is kept
This website is served by Cloudflare. When the shop opens, order data will be held on servers we rent in the European Union, with backups in the same region, and we will name every provider that handles it in the updated notice.
